We met back in the summer of 1987 and were married 3 years later in July of 1990. Though we both knew Jesus, we didn't have a personal relationship with Him. But during one of our pre-marital counseling sessions we both gave our hearts to the Lord. We were then set on a perpetual rollercoaster of job relocations and moves throughout the state of Florida. Finally, seven years later God burdened our hearts to have a closer relationship with Him. We were baptized together in July of 1997 and began serving and learning more in our church, Christ Community Church in Tampa, Florida. Three months later our son, Jeremy, was born. He was a beautiful, long awaited miracle from God. In August of 1998 we transferred, for the last time, to the state of New Jersey where we currently live. We found a wonderful new church family in New Durham Chapel and became members a year later. On December 31, 2003 God blessed us with another little miracle, our daughter Erin.

We were first introduced to ministry to international students by a missionary friend of ours at New Durham Chapel. He told us how the mission field was right at our front door, Rutgers University. We decided to check it out. We got to know some Chinese students right away and fell in love with them. After a short time we realized that we wanted to do more. We wanted to serve our Lord, serving them. We joined ISI's team in 2002 and have been striving to befriend internationals ever since. We love our work and are continually blessed to be even just a small part of this ministry.
